Big Shots Challenge comes to an end with a Great Bang
The Maruman Big Shots Challenge Grand 09’ was recently held at Kota Permai GCC on the 17th of December with great success. There were a total 128 players; 40 grand finalists and 88 invitational golfers vying for top spot in the 2nd installation of the Big Shots Grand Final. All golfers were treated to wide array of goodies ranging from a Maruman cart Bag (RM980), Firethorn Tour Shirts (RM189), Maruman arm Sleeves, Maruman Pro Cap and 1 tube of Titliest Pro V1 golf balls. There were also a total of 7 sure win holes offering Panasonic LCD Screens, Jason Taylor Sunglasses and the increasingly popular Suunto Golf Watches (RM3800). To add to the merriment the organizer also prepared more then 70 lucky draw prizes for everyone that was present.
Despite the 45-minute rain delay after the first two holes, it was a really good day for golf as the slight overcast proved perfect conditions for an enjoyable game of golf. At the end of the day everyone had a great time golfing, which is the main reason Transview Golf Sdn Bhd organizes events such as this.
The highlight of the day though had to be the cheque presentation for the less fortunate children from Rumah Kanak-Kanak Cacat Selangor Klang. The organizers had been collecting donations through their bull eye competition and had managed to amass a total of RM4000 to be given to the children’s home. Nevertheless, through the kindness of their hearts, golfers present at the prize presentation were seen donating their own money for these kids. There was even an impromptu auction where golfers gave back their lucky draw prizes to be auctioned with the proceeds going to the home. It was certainly a great gesture by all those present as the organizers managed to collect close RM10K for the children.
This was certainly memorable event, which couldn’t have materialized if not for those who supported this event. Among those who played an integral part in the success of this event are; Maruman, Firethorn, Panasonic, Perry Gear Apparel, Jason Taylor Sunglasses, Loreal Biotherm, 100 Plus, Suunto watches, Golf Malaysia, MyGolf.com.my, Golf Magazine and of course Titliest.
